Forensic Services

This Program is a collaboration between Gracepoint and Hillsborough County 13th District Court. Our Subject Matter Expert supports the Chief Judge and Court Administration by offering recommendations. 

Intensive and comprehensive behavioral health services focusing on treating co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, reducing hospitalizations, and decreasing the debilitating symptoms of mental health.

Individuals with a Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, found incompetent on felony charges are court-ordered into our four to six months program with the goal to restore hope and recovery.

In collaboration with judges, public defenders, state attorneys and DOC treatment addresses co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, vocational services, therapy, and life skills training. Individuals receive individual and group therapy, IOP and outpatient treatment, as well as inpatient treatment when needed.

Goals are to assist people in achieving stability in the community while reducing the chance of recidivism. By offering restoration to competency, medication compliance, engagement in treatment, and placement stability.
